GBC Italy
Pastorelli is a member of Building Council Italy, that intends to introduce the LEED - Leadership Energy in Environmental and Design - independent certification system in Italy, the parameters of which establish precise design and costruction criteria for buildings that are healthy and energetically efficient with limited environmental impact.
The LEED evaluation criteria considered are grouped into six categories that attribute the final point score for the building:
- Sustainable sites (1 prerequisite, 14 points)
- Water efficiency (5 points)
- Energy and Atmosphere (3 prerequisites, 17 points)
- Material and Resources (1 prerequisite, 13 points)
- Indoor Environmental Quality (2 prerequisites, 15 points)
- Innovation and Design Process (5 points)
The are 4 rating levels:
- Basic certification: between 26 and 32 points
- Silver: between 33 and 38 points
- Gold: between 39 e 51 points
- Platinum: between 52 and 69 points
