LEED Credits
Pastorelli confirms its commitment to protecting the environment by launching the “Opera” series, conceived for the achievement of LEED certification for buildings.
The Opera line is produced using traditional raw materials for 50% extracted, as usual, from quarries, and reusing production waste from the ceramic industry itself for 50%. This enormous savings of natural extracts is only possible thanks to the introduction of superior techniques for controlling the entire manufacturing process. This method thoroughly respects the philosophy of eco-compatibility in every way. With Opera LEED MR 4.1 and 4.2 credits can be obtained.
LEED certification, which attests to a more rational use of valuable resources, affects the commercial value of a building as well as the choice of the buyer himself. In fact, technoligies, materials and systems designed to drastically limit energy consumption will take on a more and more important role in the classification of homes and increase profits in the case of sale.
A “LEED Certified” building has greater energy efficiency, reduces pollution and environmental impact, guarantees a safer and cleaner world for future generations, protects the ecosystems and improves quality of life in all its aspects.
